Pakistan, the world’s fifth most populous nation, is a country that possesses nuclear power but is plagued by instability. Currently, its parliament is being dissolved and its most popular politician is in prison. The root of the current turmoil can be traced back to last year when Imran Khan was removed from his position as prime minister. He is currently serving time for the unlawful sale of state gifts. However, Khan denies the charges and his lawyers state that their appeal has been taken up by a high court. Despite an upcoming election in the next few months, the citizens of Pakistan have expressed concerns about their future on the streets.
