Guido Tonelli is an Italian particle physicist. He is one of the main protagonists in the discovery of the Higgs Boson at the Large Hadron Collider. He is a professor of General Physics at the University of Pisa (Italy) and a CERN visiting scientist.

“Genesis” was a breakout bestseller in Italy and is now available in English. It ponders whether the ancient Greeks were right to think that the universe sprung from chaos. If that’s true, then what happened in its first moments? Guido brings particle physics to life by exploring complex scientific concepts in light of ancient and modern ways of thinking.
