Meet the New Loreley on Germany’s Rhine River!

Have you ever heard of the Lorelei rock on the Middle Rhine? The Rhine is particularly narrow and deep at this part, and atop the rock, legend has it that a siren called Lorelei distracts the crews atop the ships with her beauty and golden hair, causing them to crash. According to the legend, she would only target foreigners though. A new sculpture of the Lorelei has been unveiled and will undoubtedly draw even more vistors.⁠
