The government is appealing for international help. Also, thousands join an anti-Rwanda march in DR Congo after Kinshasa expelled a diplomat from Kigali. Tensions between the two neighbours are high. Finally, Nigeria’s president holds an emergency meeting with his security chiefs in response to warnings from the US embassy of potential attacks on the capital Abuja.
