Pop star Lizzo played a 200-year-old crystal flute owned by former President James Madison. The flute is part of a larger collection at the Library of Congress.
Lizzo took a small tour of the Library and played that and other flutes around the building, which librarian Carla Hayden invited her to through a tweet.
In a special arrangement, the crystal flute came on stage with Lizzo at her Washington, D.C. concert the next evening.
