Are you suffering from mental illnesses like depression or anxiety? Do you know someone who is? People who are suffering from a mental illness often hear the same type of unhelpful remarks. At some point, it can become annoying. It’s important to spread awareness about mental illness. And to help those who may not know what to say to someone who has one. To promote mental health awareness, here’s a list of some annoying things you should not say to someone with a mental illness. (Although your intentions may be good, they’ve simply heard these ones before. A lot!)
