藝術家示範 | 廣子蘭庫爾
Learn about the art and artistic process of Hiroko Lancour, a Japanese-born mixed-media artist based in Metro Detroit.
Fascinated by patterns, geometry, and nature, Hiroko’s work is influenced by her cross-cultural background of East and West. Trained as a systems analyst before becoming a full-time artist in 2010, she applies a systematic approach to her studio practice, but her artistic experiments often produce unexpected, accidental results. Hiroko has exhibited artwork at numerous galleries and institutions throughout southeast Michigan and holds the title of Freer House Artist in Resonance.
This demonstration is presented in honor of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month by the Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures.
This program is made possible by the PNC Foundation.
