Learn about the art and artistic process of James Thigpen Jr., an American contemporary artist whose work explores the multifaceted experience of Black culture.

Now residing in Detroit, James was born in Flint, 密歇根州, and recalls one of his earliest childhood memories of attending career day in the second grade as an artist. Since that moment, he has worked tirelessly to evolve in his destiny.
