In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the world was treated to an unusually large full moon – the second full moon within the month of August. The rare event – which occurs only roughly every two-and-a-half years – might be referred to as a ‚Blue Moon‘, but the actual color of the moon remains the same.⁠
