Christmas Time – Prague and its stunning christmas markets in the old town

Prague is known as the „Golden City“. The capital of the Czech Republic is a magnet for tourists throughout the year, especially Christmas. It is known for its hearty cuisine: Such as Baumstriezel, Knödel and Prag Ham. The Vltava River is crossed on the famous Charles Bridge, high up in the castle district (on the Hradschin) the St. Vitus Cathedral towers over the city in its emphatic Gothic style. Prague’s beauty shines a little brighter at Advent as all the colourful Christmas markets add to the charm with their festive stalls and enticing smells.
