Exploiting the tools at their disposal and taking advantage of susceptible people who might have been out of reach before, their ability to manipulate poses a direct threat to society and politics. Counter-extremism expert Julia Ebner shares her experience of going undercover to infiltrate these groups and what she learnt from her time in some of the darkest corners of the web.
