Curator and Collector Chat: The Maniichuk-Brady Collection

Asen Kirin, Parker Curator of Russian Art, and Rose Brady, collector, conducted a discussion via Zoom about Ukranian socialist realist paintings donated to the museum from the Jurii Maniichuk and Rose Brady Collection. They were joined by George Nesterczuk, a friend and colleague of Jurii Maniichuk who looked after the collection for many years after its arrival in the United States, and moderated by Callan Steinmann, curator of eduction. Selections from the donation are on view at the museum through September 26, 2021. The talk was recorded February 11, 2021.
