German Minister Pistorius in India to try to reduce country’s reliance on Russian weapons

Boris Pistorius is in Delhi as part of a seven-day visit to the region. He wants to strengthen ties with what he calls ‘reliable partners’ in the Indo-Pacific, and says this cooperation is key to global peace and stability. Gemany is supporting India’s defence capacity in an attempt to reduce India’s reliance on Russian-supplied weapons.
