Targeted by the regime of former President Rodrigo Duterte, Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa recently released a new book, ‘How to Stand up to A Dictator.’ DW’s Janelle Dumalaon asked her about that and democracy in the Philippines.

“If you don’t have facts, you can’t have truth and without truth, you can’t have trust.” Without these three, there is no shared reality leaving problems unsolved, the journalist said in the interview.
