In Session: Royalties 101 + NFTs

Join our conversation to learn the ins and outs of royalties.

Royalties can be a complicated subject; most artists know they exist but don’t know important details like how and where to collect the money they are owed. Songwriters, publishers, labels, featured artists and more can all be entitled to royalties from broadcasted recordings.

This panel of industry professionals will cover several different angles of how you can add yet another revenue stream of income from the music that you have already created, and how to make the most of the music that you create in the future.

Did you know that you can collect royalties from NFTs? We’ll break down the definition of NFTs, how to make money from them, and the creative ways that artists are using them while staying true to their brand. We’ll also explore the most common ways that artists are collecting residuals from unions like SAG-AFTRA to make sure that you are getting the most out of your recorded performances.
