Is THIS an Architecture Practice? The Undercover Architect Part 2
In part 2 of Amelia’s story, you’ll learn why she changed from working one-on-one with clients to a business model that helps many at once. As she focused on a mission to educate and serve she began writing a blog and followed with a podcast in 2016. Her goal was to create a comprehensive resource around the topics people were searching for as they began their renovation and new building projects. By educating and empowering her readers and listeners she also found a means to financially support her family by making products tailored to help her audience when they needed it most.
We’ll learn how a podcast can generate new work, how Amelia sets goals, and how she’s used her online presence to bring her “the best clients she’s ever worked with” along with a sizable profit. You’ll also see how valuable a strategic marketing plan can be as Amelia implements hers to invite her ideal customers into her funnel.
We close with her response to the criticism from other architects that she’s “not a real architect” simply because the business she created doesn’t resemble a traditional practice.
