Isabella Rossellini: TimesTalks Luminato 2014

Among second-generation icons, Isabella Rossellini is that rarest of examples whose artistry reflects both of her legendary parents. As an actress, whose career extends from David Lynch’s groundbreaking Blue Velvet to Denis Villeneuve’s erotic Enemy, she is as gifted as her mother, Ingrid Bergman. As a storyteller, she is as masterful as her father, Italian auteur Roberto Rossellini. In her short film My Dad is 100 Years Old, she played every part, including Alfred Hitchcock and her mother. Her transformative skills reach greater heights with Green Porno, as she embodies insects and animals to explore sexuality in the wild.
