K Pop Together! is a brand new project from The Place and the Korean Cultural Centre, both in London, 英國.

Using inspiration from the music video Oh Ya Ya Ya by K-Pop group Lunarsolar, we are inviting young dancers and youth dance companies aged 12-19 from the UK and Korea, to take part in a FREE K-Pop workshop and create a new dance film.

If you’d like to take part, follow these three steps!

1. Take part in a free workshop
Join British based K Pop choreographer Joongha Park for a FREE online K-Pop Together dance workshop! Learn the chorus choreography from Oh Ya Ya Ya as well as learning the K-Pop fundamentals.

Once you’ve learned the chorus choreography, Joongha will show you some helpful choreographic tasks so you’ll not only perform Lunarsolar’s official choreography but also create your own.

This workshop will be live from Wed 16 十二月.

2. Create & film your own choreography
Now it’s your turn. Using tips from the workshop create your own choreography and send us a film of you dancing. You can download the information pack about how to create your film at the bottom of the webpage.

3. Send us your film
You can send us your film using the simple form on the website.

Young dancers can be part of a group or dance alone, no experience of K-Pop necessary just lots of energy, sass and fun.

Your films will be edited together to create a new K-Pop music video, which will be launched on The Place and Korean Cultural Centre’s websites in 2021.

Deadline for film submissions is Fri 29 簡 2021.

Join us to be part of a truly memorable global online K-Pop dance video project!
