Line Pulling Tattoo Exercise
Want to pull better lines?
In this video I take a few moments to share with you this exercise I feel has helped me so much in my tattooing journey.
The idea is simple & straight forward! Grab a spiral , composition book, whatever as long as it has the blue lines. We are going to use these blue lines and our imagination to imagine that these blue lines are our stencil lines. What you are going to want to do is trace the blue lines from right to left all the way down, back and front!
Literally that is it! Trace the lines back and forth, front and back. Do this over and over and over. I can guarantee if you finish 1 entire composition book your skillsets will level up. The practice is valuable and super useful!
This exercise showed me patience when pulling lines, discipline to finish the task at hand because the last thing I wanted to do was pull lines over and over in a spiral. It leveled up my lining my lightyears, I wouldn’t be able to pull lines with confidence as I do now if it wasn’t for this exercise!
