The Courtauld Gallery will reopen on 19 十一月 2021, following the most significant modernisation project in its history, providing a transformed home for one of the UK’s greatest art collections.
One of our opening displays will be Modern Drawings: The Karshan Gift – a collection of 24 important modern and post-war featuring work by European and American masters including Georg Baselitz, 約瑟夫·博伊斯, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, 格哈德·里希特, Louis Soutter and Cy Twombly. Aside from Cézanne, none of the artists included in the gift has previously been represented in the collection.
