Modi heads to US for first state visit | 德國之聲新聞

India’s prime minister Narendra Modi heads to the United States this week for a high-level state visit, which will include addressing a joint session of Congress. The Indian leader is used to playing a big stage in the US.

He held a massive “Howdy Modi” rally in Texas during his last trip in 2019, where he was celebrated by India’s sizable diaspora in the US, together with then president Donald Trump.
