Mysterious mass fish die-off | 100 tons of fish have washed up along the Oder river

There have been catastrophic scenes on the River Oder since late July. Masses of fish have died in the waterway, which marks the border between Germany and Poland. It’s thought that up to 100 tons of fish may have perished in the Oder in recent days alone. The mass die-off is affecting a 500-kilometer stretch of the river. It’s not yet known what may have caused the catastrophe, but its impact is likely to be felt for many years to come by communities along the
