內爾畫家 + 特倫頓·道爾·漢考克: 個人與政治 | 帕法 – 布羅茨基中心

This Tuesday join artists Nell Painter and Trenton Doyle Hancock with the Brodsky Center’s Paola Morsiani for a conversation on how their artistic work is influenced by lived experience.

Nell Painter is a multimedia artist and the author of The History of White People (2010). Her work reflects her two identities as a historian and as a visual artist.

Trenton Doyle Hancock is an artist who merges comic-book-style narrative and abstraction in his vibrant, dizzyingly detailed prints, 圖紙, and mixed-media paintings, in which he explores the struggles within himself and in our world.

Hear these two accomplished artists share stories about their art, 政治, and everything in between.

This event is in conjunction with the Brodsky Center Spring Print Sale: a one-time-only online fine art print sale. Explore and purchase prints from local and internationally renowned artists at reduced prices in this two-day sale.

Recorded on May 26, 2020
