Philippines tries to strengthen its claim on contested South China Sea Spratly Islands | 德國之聲新聞

Tensions in the South China Sea are real and one can see them if one visits any of the islands that are disputed. A case in point is the Spratly Islands. They are claimed in their entirety by China, 台灣, and Vietnam and in part by Malaysia and the Philippines. In order to strengthen its claim, the Philippines has opened part of the Spratlys to tourism.
