Saxon Switzerland in Germany – come for the bridge and stay for the view!

It’s not exactly Switzerland, but its mountains are reminiscent of it! The big attraction in the German national park known as Saxon Switzerland park is the Bastei Bridge, a medieval-style bridge built in the 1800s. Tourists have been coming here for 200 years and it’s still hugely popular to this day. ⁠
