SF Mayor Gavin Newsom Encourages Visits to the Asian Art Museum’s Shanghai Exhibition

The Asian Art Museum presents Shanghai, an exhibition on the visual culture of one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, from February 12 through September 5, 2010. The exhibition is the cornerstone of the Shanghai Celebration, a Bay Area festival comprised of more than 30 organizations presenting more than 50 programs related to San Francisco’s Sister City for 30 years and the host of the World Expo 2010. Mayor Newsom at the Shanghai Celebration kick-off press conference on January 19, 2010 encourages attendees to visit the exhibition.
