Architectural Model built for a structures unit in architecture school. Hints and tips along the way.

WARNING :- it just became apparent to me that if you are a student learning to build a model watching this video might do you a disservice! DO NOT BUILD your first model base using the technique above. I will endeavor to make a base tutorial ASAP, your first model should either be a horizontally controlled contour base or a vertically controlled rib method. The way of building a base in this video is more sculptural and very difficult to get actual heights from your site plans.

Materials used are :- MDF boards, Balsawood, Expanding Polyurethane Rigid Foam, Laminating Resin, Evergreen brand Styrene Products, White card, Acrylic glass.

Please note, the mix ratios are based on the products I am using, read the instructions on your local products =)
