Breaking: Risky airborne rescue to reach 8 people trapped in cable car

Among those on board are six children who were using the gondola to get to school in Pakistan’s remote mountainous northwest. All but one of the gondola’s support cables snapped, leaving it hanging almost 300 metres above a ravine. Commandos from Pakistan’s army are trying to rescue the passengers using helicopters.
