Cyber Pedophiles: Webcam Predators in the Philippines | 101 东方

The Philippines is struggling to deal with a new phenomenon called cyberpaedophilia or webcam child sex tourism. For as little as $10 – online predators pay Filipino children to perform sex acts over the Internet.

Improved web access in this South East Asian nation has led to impoverished families seeing webcam abuse as a quick way to make money. Non-governmental organizations believe 75,000 predators lurk online at any time, and this year, cyberpedophiles have been arrested in the UK, 澳大利亚, and Greece.

101 East joins the hunt for the cyber predators and meets families who are allowing it to happen.
