Pakistan declares state of emergency as floods disrupt millions of lives | 德国之声

In Pakistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has appealed for international help as authorities deal with some of the worst flooding in the country’s history. Close to a thousand people have been killed since monsoon rains began in June. Hundreds of thousands more have had to leave their homes. Pakistan has declared a state of emergency to deal with the disaster.
