In July 2023, the Greek holiday island of Rhodes was the scene of devastating wildfires. Thousands of residents and tourists were brought to safety in the biggest evacuation operation in the nation’s history. DW’s Lukas Stege shows you how things are looking on Rhodes several weeks after the catastrophe.
