US responds as China practices ‘sealing off’ Taiwan in military drills | 德国之声

The skies and seas surrounding Taiwan were, for a third straight day, occupied by China’s defense forces on Monday. The US sent a guided-missile destroyer through contested parts of the South China Sea in response. The Chinese warships and fighter jets have now completed simulated exercises – but the message and the threat accompanying them are palpapble.
