How I heal Tattoos, the Tattoo aftercare process explained. Today I want to go over my process for healing a tattoo. I want to start by saying, not everyone heals a tattoo in the same way, this is just what I have found works for me and my clients.
Day 1: wrap the tattoo up.
Day2. take the wrap off and clean tattoo
Day3: Keep the tattoo clean and dry dont use any moisturizer.
Day4: Same as day 3 but if its getting to itchy then apply one thin layer of moisturizer
Day5: from here on out you can apply the moisturizer of you choice 2 times per day while keeping the tattoo clean and dry.
You will continue Day fives process for each day moving forward until the tattoo is healed. This will usually be about 2 weeks.
