曾經有那麼一群年輕人，每一次起飛都可能永別，每一次落地都必須感謝上蒼。他們戰鬥在雲霄。勝敗一瞬間。他們必須無所畏懼，但也無所遁逃。他們是螺旋槳時代的最後一批戰鬥機飛行員，他們所面對的敵人，以及生死，都在目視可及的範圍內，一如十九世紀的貴族決鬥。紀實電影《冲天》以1937-1945年中華民國與日本帝國之間的全面戰爭為大背景，來呈現這群年輕人的愛戀、榮耀與存亡。
The pilots of ROC Air Force during the Second World War are a fearless group of young people who fought and won combats against the Japanese Empire despite the difficult conditions. Through historical footage, documents, animation and interviews, The Rocking Sky tells a story of love, glory and survival of these young pilots during that tumultuous era.
