凱西、羅格和安東尼跟其他芝加哥小孩一樣，為了能順利畢業而努力用功著。跟其他人不同的是，他們放學之後無家可歸，每天都得想辦法找個安全溫暖的地方過夜…在芝加哥有將近兩萬名像他們這樣的孩子，背負著難以磨滅的創傷，或因為移民背景、同志身份而備受歧視。身為失落的一代，他們該怎麼做才能突破生存困境？
The Homestretch follows three homeless teens in Chicago as they fight to stay in school, graduate, and build a future. Each of these smart, ambitious teenagers—Roque, Kasey, and Anthony—will surprise, inspire, and challenge audiences to rethink stereotypes of homelessness as they work to complete their education while facing the trauma of being alone and abandoned at an early age.
