蚵子寮原是一個不起眼的小漁村，由於漁獲量銳減及自然景觀的破壞，人口外流嚴重。為了重振產業發展觀光，同時吸引外地的遊子返鄉，當地居民決議發起「蚵寮漁村小搖滾」的音樂節活動。在吃過公部門的閉門羹後，這群門外漢決定不靠政府或財團的資源，從認識獨立樂團開始到募款、宣傳，用團結展現蚵子寮的漁村魅力。本片完整紀錄了2014「蚵寮漁村小搖滾」從籌劃到謝幕的過程，以及在地居民和返鄉青年對故鄉的懷舊與願景。
Kezailiao is a small fishing village with depleted fish stocks and a destroyed coastline that drive its young residents to the cities. In order to revive its tourism and attract the young generation, the locals decide to organize a concert called “Small Oyster Rock”. Inexperienced as they are, the locals manage to carry it out without any support from the public sector or private corporations. From fundraising, programming and promoting the festival, they do everything by themselves.
