7 Architecture Facts pt.25 | Chateau, Cathedral, Calatrava & Frieze

This video is about the architecture of Santiago Calatrava; the cove moulding and it’s various size and uses; the Frieze at it appears on the entablature in classical architecture; the Biltmore Estate (or Chateau) Asheville, North Carolina designed by Richard Morris Hunt and the grounds designed by the famous NYC’s Central Park Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted; the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia designed by Cesar Pelli’s office in New Haven Connecticut; that gothic period and various cathedrals that were designed in that style and the sill plate as it relates to a building wall section and the various parts that surround it such as the, sole plate, framing, sill, ledge, joists, anchor bolts, concrete foundation, plywood, and floor framing.
