A village in Tanzania relies on organic cotton

A village in East Africa exists by selling cotton abroad. It generates money and work: money for some and work for the others. Cotton is a linchpin of the economy in many countries and has for many centuries been the most important raw material from which our clothes are made. However, its value is steadily declining and drives African producers down.
