Alessandro Trincone, Dress, “Annodami” Collection, Spring/Summer 2017

For his “Annodami” collection (Spring/Summer 2017), Alessandro Trincone Official presented, in his own words, “a new meaning of masculinity” via men in kimono-inspired garments, ruffles, skirts and kosode-like pants wide enough to look like skirts. A dress from the collection, which was worn by rapper Young Thug on the cover of his album “JEFFERY,” is featured in our exhibition “Gender Bending Fashion: https://www.mfa.org/exhibitions/gender-bending-fashion
