Casey Tutton is a singer/songwriter from the Midwest, currently based in Los Angeles. She grew up making music with her brothers, who remain among her most frequent collaborators. She was raised in an arts-focused community where she was trained in classical voice and sang in a madrigal choir that performed internationally. Casey got her start acting in theatre, opera, multiple films, and television, most notably Chicago Med (NBC) and Proven Innocent (FOX). Her songs are lyric-driven and give her the freedom to capture personal, highly relatable, and sometimes deeply embarrassing moments from her life., Casey is a singer/songwriter who grew up making music with her brothers, who are also artists/producers/songwriters, and remain among her most frequent collaborators. Her childhood was a cacophony of guitar, piano, and various voices and loud instruments, often all at once. She was born in Evanston, IL and raised in Shorewood, WI, an arts-focused community where she was trained in classical voice and sang in a madrigal choir that performed internationally. Casey got her start acting in theatre, opera, multiplefilms, and television, most notably Chicago Med(NBC) and Proven Innocent (FOX). Casey’s songs are lyric-drivenand narrative in style. She creates an emotional arc, and her songs often feel like a short story. Throughout her life, music was a daily source of calm and clarity. More recently she discovered how making music can help her authentically connect with other people, which led her to consider sharing hers more publicly. That, along with the space to reflect on how she truly wants to spend her short time on Earth, gave her a final sense of ‘fuck it, why not.’ Her earliest influences include Joni Mitchell, Nickel Creek, Fleetwood Mac, and Alison Krauss.
