Casting Bronze Statues in South India
A sacred 600-year-old Indian bronze image of the Hindu deity Shiva is one of the masterpieces of the Asian Art Museum’s collection. This video shows the master artisans in a South Indian bronze-casting workshop making similar images in the complex, time-honored way.
