The ECOWAS regional bloc suspends Burkina Faso after this week’s coup, but will not impose other sanctions pending the outcome of talks with the junta. Mali’s Foreign Minister says it rules nothing out when it comes to its relationship with France… and calls comments made by his French counterpart “full of contempt”.
