Finally Bangkok’s Tuk-tuks Go Green – and Silent!

Rattling tuk-tuks transporting tourists and locals through Bangkok’s heavy traffic are iconic and one of Thailand’s secret trademarks. But more and more of them are being replaced by electric versions that run quietly and don’t pollute the air. Does that take the fun out of the experience? What is it like to ride in an electric tuk-tuk? And what do the tuk-tuk drivers have to say about it?
