Former PM Najib denies wrongdoing as Malaysia deepens 1MDB probe l Al Jazeera English

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has admitted that things “went wrong” in 1MDB, the fund from which he and his associates are accused of stealing billions of dollars.
Najib is facing 38 charges of corruption and money laundering. In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera’s 101 East, he denies any wrongdoing, saying he was not in control of the fund.
