Haas Brothers’ Accretion Vase Production Process

For designers Niki and Simon Haas, known as The Haas Brothers, the Accretion series (2013-ongoing) began as an exploration into the process of natural growth. Here, they discuss the process for achieving the intricate texture from their Accretion series. The work is on view as part of ‘Making | Breaking New Arrivals,’ on view at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum May–October, 2017.
