Have you ever seen a lake in a desert? 🏜️🐫 Here is one – in Namib Desert!

There’s one in Namibia’s Namib desert. Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan surrounded by sand dunes. It’s covered in water after a good rainy season. You can even swim in the shallow lake. 🏊‍♀️
Our tip: climb up the dunes at sunrise and enjoy the view. Then go swimming. But be careful, the floor of the lake is very slippery.⁠
