How many bears can a castle bear? | #shorts

The picturesque Hartenfels castle near the Saxonian city of Torgau bears a surprise – literally: bears live in the castle grounds. 🐻
Keeping them there has been an old tradition: As early as 1425, a bear was caught for this purpose. ⁠
The feudal custom was interrupted after the Battle of Torgau in 1760 and resumed in the 1950s.
