Lanzarote: an artspace in a lava tunnel

Arts and culture in the middle of a volcano – it’s real!⁠ 🌋 🎨
You’ll find it inside a lava tunnel in the Canary Islands: Jameos del Agua in Lanzarote is an arts and culture center. The tourist attraction was designed by artist César Manrique in 1966. Inside, there’s a natural lake, as well as an artificial pool with turquoise waters. The highlight however is the concert hall – inside a grotto, with some 600 seats.
