Cologne Cathedral is a gorgeous example of Gothic architecture. Its spires thrust almost 160 meters into the sky. One of those towers has a viewing platform about 100 meters up, with a breathtaking view of Cologne and the River Rhine. To reach the platform, visitors need to climb 533 steps!
