Marina Abramovic | Interview pt. 6 | TimesTalks

Marina Abramovic talks about her work, her collaborations and the future of performance art with New York Times culture reporter Patricia Cohen — www.timestalks.com. Marina Abramovic has used her own body as a medium, pushing herself beyond her limits. After her landmark retrospective at MoMA in 2010, she collaborated with director Robert Wilson, singer-composer Antony Hegarty and performer Willem Dafoe, to create an experimental opera based on her biography. The work, “The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic,” will be performed at Luminato in Toronto June 14-17.
